Furcadia is an online computer game that all in the Rome-furr Council use to communicate with each other. All screen shots on this website come from Furcadia. I'm keeping this simple since I will let the official Furcadia website explain what Furcadia is.
It is mostly used as just a glorified chat program, but it has the potential to be much more. Actual role-playing can exist in this game, in certain sections of the online land. Rome-furr is one of those places.
In Furcadia, you assume the identity of a sentient mammal, also known as a furre. You begin by choosing what you want to be: feline, canine, equine, musteline, or rodent. All look completely different. You then can choose the gender and look (colors). After that, you make up an original name and description. Then you begin your adventure in Furcadia!
